If we dared to dispense of words, we would inevitably land in the realm of imagery. Words make us slaves of rationality and there is far too much of it in an era that is worshiping science and technology. Perhaps we like science because we seek certainty. We really struggle to express the truth contained within our 'humanity' with words, here the truth is uncertain, it is like this... but it could also be like that... That's why there is nothing that I like more than the world of images, a much more suitable means to convey the ambiguities underlying the reality of our experience.
